The PENTA Building Group completed Zappos.com‘s new home.
“PENTA is thrilled to be a part of such an iconic project for the area,” said project manager Bryan Richards in a statement. “Zappos has been an engaged, hands-on partner since the beginning. It is rewarding to work alongside another company that is truly committed to providing a high-quality facility for both its employees and the community.”
Renovations on on the 41-year-old former Las Vegas City Hall began in August 2012. At its peak, the project had around 300 workers per day. A grand opening and ribbon cutting was held on Sept. 9.
PENTA created an open space environment fitting Zappos’ culture. Electrical systems are accessed through the ceiling and desks are not bolted down, so workers are able to move their work spaces anywhere they choose.
